Yeah, I wish they at least offered an "Eco Pack" for extra buckaroos that included the taller tranny. But, I think it's part of their "minimal option" factory assembly model (my term for it anyway). Any tranny you want as long as it's the same,  .

Honda loves to rip you off with dealer-installed accessories. How about a dealer-installed eco 5th gear? If I were going to pony up for a new car, I'd be willing to pay up to, oh, $400 for the gear swap. Especially if it doesn't mess with the warranty.
