I really like the idea of netbooks and portable tablets, honestly.
That said, I never plan on spending more than $200 on one, for the simple reason that I just don't have to.
I can build a much smaller computer that can accomplish the same basic tasks for much less, and it's expandable, plus, I'm not limited by size, since the whole computer, less monitor, will fit in my hand. (Google PicoITX and "gumstix")
