Today I restarted MMO use, but at reduced .5 oz/10 gal fuel. Just as a maintenance dose.

Tank included one commute leg using alternator due to rain; needed to run wipers, headlights and fan. This causes somewhat lower operating voltage (around 12V vs. around 12.5V). Lower voltage = lower fuel pump pressure thus less fuel injected per pulse. MPGuino is unaware of fuel pressure, only pulse duration. Better weather, thankfully. I think I have most of the bubbles out of the coolant so am runni g the block better again. BUT it still only gives about 30 -40 deg over ambient so not much help from that.

Ran CataClean prior to this tank. So this tank used the approx 3/4 bottle of it that was diluted into that full tank. Lean Burn is running better than it was pre-treatment."

Then prior to trip home, added a can of CataClean (this is the second treatment; did it a couple weeks ago). Then filled up fully in Colchester, CT, after driving about 20 miles on concentrated CataClean, per instructions.

Lost MPGuino data due to battery not fully charged. Thus no summary tank data.

35 mph average (ScanGauge).

Next tank will read a bit better mpg than the MPGuino indicates. Due to this fill was done at Williams St. in New London where I don't usually fill; the tank flowed over a bit due to I was filling at my usual slow rate towards the end. Not good at that pump!!

Fill includes 2.5 oz MMO, that qty due to no MMO in tank from previous fill. Lean burn behavior got pretty nice after the first 55 mi. commute leg.

After 3.5 commute legs, I removed the upper grill block. Even after topping up radiator and burping the coolant, it was still going up over 220º F with the block in place. Better with block removed but I think the cooling system still has issues."
