I was turning off at lights, and was trying to be as careful as possible. Temps were lower, and wife drove ~50 miles of it - which is like 2.3 gallons! - that I didn't get to be careful for. Changed oil in the middle of it to Valvoline High-Mileage semi-synth. Drove to church twice, which is driver +3 family members, not just driver. Everything was conspiring against me....
Also, was tesing route #3 to work...looks like its the least efficient....
Lots of wind and rain to fight too - it was cold + wet for 4 or 5 days of it.
Tank was ~5% ethanol, it was half-empy of regular when last fillup was put in, and last fill was 10% ethanol. |
