Fill date Distance Fill amount Price MPG Details
2009-07-15 514 mi. 13.28 US gal 38.7 US 89 - Made it from Illinois/Indiana border, into central PA on one tank, personal best. (in my experience the tank usefully holds 14 gallons, max) This included quite a bit of drafting a truck that was travelling so perfectly for me drafting it that I took a picture.
2009-07-14 452.2 mi. 12.89 US gal 35.08 US 89 - Made it from downtown Minneapolis, to the state of Indiana, on one tank. This was a personal one-tank record distance for me, until the next one.
2009-07-14 258.1 mi. 6.99 US gal 36.92 US 89 - Got lost in downtown Minneapolis, when I was on I-94 trying to go through and it said "Closed ahead, use alternative route"... but never suggested one.

Filled up before going into Wisconsin, which I knew had more expensive gas than Minnesota, hoping to make it to Indiana without filling up since Illinois is also expensive. I made it.
2009-07-13 365 mi. 10.83 US gal 33.7 US 89 - Crosswind/Headwind all day driving across South Dakota, but I still got better fuel economy this tank than -any- tank before the mods.
2009-07-13 151.9 mi. 4.08 US gal 37.23 US 88 - Hindered by driving around the Black Hills of South Dakota, and aided by the elevation change down from the rocky mountains.
2009-07-13 263 mi. 7.35 US gal 35.78 US 87 - Some of the worst downpours I've ever experienced. I actually pulled off into a rest stop because the storms were so bad, and I never do that. Didn't hurt the mileage too much though, apparently.
2009-07-12 378.4 mi. 10.75 US gal 35.2 US 88 - I skipped a fuel entry as I had a gas leak fixed, and lost a good deal of gas to that. This is the first entry with the new fuel tank, and the first long-distance test of rear wheel skirts, mirror delete, grille block and airdam/front tray.

This one is from across Montana, from Missoula to Billings, plus about 30 miles.
2009-06-25 253.8 mi. 8.88 US gal 28.58 US 89 - around Montana, at this point I had a leak in my gas tank
2009-06-13 300.1 mi. 10.45 US gal 28.72 US 89 - around Montana. At this point I had a leak in my gas tank.

2009-05-01 353.2 mi. 11.97 US gal 29.51 US 89 - all mileage adjusted for off-stock tire size
2004-09-09 89112 mi. 3297 US gal 27.03 US I've kept fuel logs for Car since I first got it (Car is gender-neutral, I couldn't think of any maleness or femaleness that fit it). There have been too many partial fills and errors to post individually, but the graph of 30-day averages is interesting.

Not too bad for a 4.5 year average of a 17 year old car that has, in my care, had three fuel leaks and a stuck brake caliper.
