Fill date Distance Fill amount Price MPG Details
2009-09-26 447.1 mi. 14.92 US gal $2.55 29.97 US Excessive in town driving coupled with me having to get somewhere in less time than I needed to hypermile properly = bad FE.

Blast I hate outside factors forcing me to drive less efficiently.
2009-09-14 409.9 mi. 16.9 US gal $2.49 24.25 US I was forced to stay with traffic on 2 lane roads, my FE sucked the whole way and I couldn't seem to coax it up, couple that with the fact my father underfilled the car on the last tank and this is what you get.
2009-09-05 271.7 mi. 6.801 US gal $2.5 39.95 US My father filled this time and obviously didn't bother to fill all the way, I can fit 5 gallons more after it first clicks
2009-08-30 342.6 mi. 11.37 US gal $2.49 30.13 US
2009-08-23 376.2 mi. 13.76 US gal $2.55 27.34 US
2009-08-16 426.6 mi. 12.46 US gal $2.64 34.24 US
2009-08-07 494.4 mi. 16.98 US gal $2.58 29.12 US Bleh, terrible MPGs lots and lots of stop and go in town and some rural highway, lots of unknown territory and thus poor coasting
2009-08-02 405.7 mi. 12.4 US gal $2.49 32.72 US Fair deal of town and lots of rural highway which netted me very low highway MPG. It seems lately I can't get the car up into the 40mpg area for more than a few seconds, not sure what happened.
2009-07-26 301 mi. 9.65 US gal $2.44 31.19 US Once again lots of city driving mixed with 200 miles of highway. This time I was much more carefull on the way out and netted 36.8mpg on one 105mile trip, I then netted 37.8mpg on the way back using a modified DWL method where I only DWL'd once I knew I would not drop out of OD. Sadly purist DWL does NOT work on my automatic vehicles very effectly, its better than nothing but especially on the buick its downright impossible to get an upshift without massive FE penalties, even if coasting down a hill. As you can see though my carefull highway driving was ruined by the extremely terrible in town MPGs. The car gets horrible FE the first 7-15minutes of operation and simply gets poor MPGs in town, I can't even coast lower than 15mph because the FE drops low so fast coasting.
2009-07-22 196 mi. 6 US gal $2.39 32.67 US Mix of Highway of stop and go city driving, my first attempt at breaking the 32mpg barrier, if I had filled prior to the city driving I may well have, sadly my scanguage had to be adjusted down by 1.5%

I am not doing too well on this all city tank thus far, I will need luck with this lousy 4sp auto.

That and right after you start the car after its cooled the MPGs are terrible for at least 5 min.
