I don't know if I didn't fill the tank completely or not, (I haven't been riding this for a long time, and it seemed to fit an awful lot of gas up top without the level rising noticeably), but this was a surprise. I started out this tank with POD filters, 108 mains and 1 shim under the needles, and after experiencing carb icing, returned to the airbox, with 105 mains and no shims. Add to this, I drained the carbs to access the bowls, and since the gas went into a can for lawn mower use I didn't feel like pouring it back into the tank.
All in all, I'm surprised, and I hope with some modification to maintain 60+ all winter.
