I hadn't been obsessing too much on this tank. Almost half of it included a trip to South Florida, where getting ridiculous MPG wasn't the top priority.

However, toward the end of the tank, I pulled a number of amazing short trips to bring my number up - mainly due to grid charging and a new modification that powers up my BCM and also supplies a gauge to give me a far more accurate indication of my battery status and allowing me to use it wisely.

Otherwise, this included a number of longer trips, where battery power needed to be conserved, as I wasn't able to charge at the other end. The rest were in-town trips. Many weren't stellar until the end. I've been able to max out my MPG on the meter at 150+ using the battery on very short trips, but only this week have I started measuring the kWh usage.

I've also been seeking out open outlets (but not had too much success) for charging on the go. I've also become less shy about informing my friends that I'm borrowing a bit of electricity from them!

They're now getting used to either me walking up with my cord reel in hand, or already being plugged in when I knock on the door - their being trained well!

I've been a little behind on updating my mileage, as this tank was filled before Thanksgiving (almost a month ago). I'm still not making regular (work) trips, so in-town mileage is definitely limiting me. However, I'm getting back on the wagon and doing a better job of charging consistently without being obsessive.

Got fired on this tank. Was going through some hard times and didn't always try as hard as I should have. Also, a lot of short trips, and not always grid charging. Also got stuck in ridiculous traffic on multiple occasions. Finally started picking things up toward the end of the tank so I wouldn't have to hold my head low in shame. I'm starting the next tank strong, and at this rate, it's going to last me till Christmas!

Trying to still get good MPG without obsessing. Really trying to handle OCD properly. Still able to pull 90+ without trying too hard on my daily trips. Short tank because car was borrowed by girlfriend for a trip - she got 63.2MPG over 394.4 miles, but she has a little bit of a lead foot!

Grid charging at home & work most of the tank. Driving fairly slowly and getting as high as 135-140 on my regular trips. Second half of the tank had to be at 120MPG or better. This is tiring, so I am going to try to drive a little more normal, but maintain 100+MPG.

Note that I'm wasting a fair amount of gas with battery recals in the AM, but plan to fix this by wiring up the BCM power while charging. I also will be building a faster charger to maximize driving ability between cycles. Still not using AC, but it hasn't been too hot here. Concerned about temps charging at work, so I've claimed the shadiest spot and am covering the car on hot days. My 100ft extension cord and reel make all of this less of a pain.

Goal to get 100MPG tank, struggled at first, but then replaced EGR Gasket and built Grid Charger. Now charging daily and I'm much more happy with MIMA. Driving rather slowly on the highway, trying to stay at around 50MPH. I hit 127.8MPG on one trip home from work and could have done more. Many 115+MPG trips. Next step is to fix SoC so I'm not wasting gas as the battery recalibrates. A 100MPG tank should be easy from this point out, but I'm trying to work on my OCD, so I might make things more reasonable.

First tank with MIMA, dealing with battery nearly dead most of the time. Also replaced EGR valve to get rid of bucking, but also introduced air leak causing increased consumption at idle.
