Even with a good 45-60 minutes of idling and half city I managed to get nearly 40mpg. A manual transmission with decent gearing should put it well into the 50mpg range at the same speed. |

sum of last four additions and fillup. Even during the winter it seems that the biggest mileage gain is seen from accelerating, then bumping it into, etc... Not too many per trip since I'd like to keep wear on the clutch packs down, but still good for a ~5-8+mpg difference compared to driving the same speeds w/o it. Going from 60-70mph to 50-55mph adds on another couple mpg, but getting grief from other drivers isn't worth the hassle IMO. |
