This was a 9.7g + 6.6g fill up. The first part looked bad also because that is where I started it out going 80mph for 20 min to help pass emissions. The last part must have been better to get it back up to 40. Same technique of 1/3 throttle and DFCO.

Woah, this one is interesting because I put a fuel cleaner (CRC Guaranteed to Pass) after about 160 miles to help my car pass emissions. I was using 1/3 throttle again and tried to DFCO more as I noticed I was coasting when I could have DFCO. Oh I also filled today with premium gas so not sure what combination helped with the good gas mileage.

Tried out 1/2 throttle acceleration (sometimes) again, but tried not to do it if I knew I was going to have to stop. Filled one past first click.
Numbers still look ok, but this time I will try my 1/3 acceleration again, but use more DFCO becuase I noticed sometimes I was going in neutral and didn't have to.

I had some highway driving at 65 at the beginning of the tank. Also, used more AC as the temps are getting hotter. Same shift points and 1/3 throttle. Filled up past a few clicks (little bit of gas spill). May try 1/2 throttle accleration again just to check it again, but I need to make sure I'm not going over the speed limit this way.

Woah, accelerated at 1/3 or maybe 1/4 throttle, so that seems to work better and still gives ok acceleration compared to 1/2. My shift points were about 12, 25, 35. I filled till first click, then was going to go slow to the next click, but it only added .05 gallons. PM magazine suggested first click, wait 10 seconds then slow until next click.

I filled just till first click this time. I tried to do some 1/2 throttle accelaration to test out...thought doing this may get up to efficient speed better. It was still good, but not as good as last time, so I will go back to 1/3 or less throttle, shift to 4th at 35mph instead of 40, and keep trying to glide as much as I can.

Wow, best ever! I topped off until gas came out again. I was trying to coast more, and accelerated about 1/3 or less throttle with about 2500 rpm shifts. Next time I may do so 1/2 throttle acceleration to see if that is worse.

Filled until gas came out (it was more that last time though). This means my mpg was a little better since I put in more than last time. I also just filled my tires to about 50psi (max sidewall) so we'll see what happens next time.

Still shifting at about 2400 rpms. Tires at 40 psi. This time filled it 1 click past like I did last time. Then I kept going about 3 more clicks and stopped since a little fuel started coming out. I will do this again next fillup.

Tried to coast when possible, especially far away and up to red lights. My car is making knocking noises when I shift around 2000 rpms, so I was mostly shifting around 2500 as the owner's manual suggests. The mpg's didn't seem to be too much affected this time, but I'm still thinking lower rpm's would be better. Also, when I filled up till the pump clicked I recorded those gallons, but decided to then go to the next click (and will do so on the fillup) to get more miles. My other thought is to keep clicking until it won't go anymore.

Had some heavy traffic one day near the beginning, but mostly typical suburban driving. I tried to use DFCO a little more up to lights, and coasted if I needed more speed to get to the light.

One tire was low at the first part of the tank. Last half tank was just getting into this whole hypermiling thing. Some interstate driving, also some stop-n-go traffic in Atlanta. This mileage includes a few small fillups as well (my tank only holds 11 gallons).
