993 cc three cylinder conversion, this car was only available with a 1.3l 4-cylinder engine which got 47mpg on my commute. The 3 banger gets 50-51mpg. Oregon is a E-10 state.
Planned Mods:
install the 5-speed off the original 4-cylinder, it has a higher final drive ratio. have the cam reground to xfi specs at Delta Camshaft in Tacoma Washington. Both of these mods should push this car to the high 50's.
