I just got this as a commuter car for $450. It needs some TLC though. I drive just over 100 (round trip) freeway miles a day to get to work. I pick up a carpool buddy about a quarter of the way (he pays for most of the gas and the extra weight doesn't appear to affect MPG much).
Never named cars before. Since I'm actually working on this one (blood, sweat, tears) I've become attached. It's name shall be-

Current Mods:
Delete passenger external mirror 4/19/09.
Delete wiper arms 4/19/09(in trunk with wrench when needed).
Increased/maintain tire pressure 4/19/09.
Removed cold air duct. Relying on engine ambient. Will work on WAI soon. (5/2/09)
Tach and Vaccuum gage. 5/16/09.
Engine kill switch. 5/16/09
Remote start button. 5/16/09
MPGuino 6/6/09
Installed light on dash for radiator fan ON indicator. 6/14/09 Now I can block up grill, next project, and know when it is too much.
07/13/09 Removed AC belt while replacing timing belt (AC doesn't work anyway).
Planned Mods:
Chassis under tray front and back.
Grill block and bumper aero mods.
Fender skirts.
XFI cam- if I can find one.
WAI (cold air intake removed, engine bay ambient. Step1)
Block heater
Replace hood (dented old one bends up on corners and exposes too many large gaps.)
Remove all AC components compressor etc. -weight reduction.
