Known for safety, reliability, durability, load capacity, and pretty easy to work on. This one has 313K miles on the clock (2/9/08) and I'd drive it cross country at the drop of a hat if needed.
EPA #s quoted are the current revised #s by EPA, weight 3070 lb. is as stock from owners manual.

Tach, air dam extension and forward belly pan, grill block/forward face rebuild, elec. rad fan conversion, restored/upgraded intake heater in OEM airbox, 15" steel wheels at 50 psi, e-code headlights, upgraded sway bars..
A new nose/grill area treatment recently installed. Single sheet plywood covers area between the corner lights, from hood's forward edge to bumper. Is curved and angled similar to a windshield to help deflect airflow.
Planned Mods:
Planned for Spring '08: 'Summer' version of grill panel will have a larger opening, similar design to winter version. Underbody smoothing using aluminum screening and paint, as inspired by 'Hateful'. Will likely use latex/acrylic aluminum primer that I have with pickup bed liner paint as an overcoat. That stuff's tough.
