Current Mods: Added a Kostov series DC electric motor
20 Costco golf cart batteries
Curtis 1221 controller
Modified 400 watt ATX power supply mod for DC/DC converter.
Home-made 15A/120V or 30 Amp 240 volt battery charger allows for charging in only 3-hours.

Replaced front and rear wheel bearings. Replaced tires with smaller foot-print, low rolling resistance ones.

Max speed 87 mph
Max range (at 55mph) 50+ miles (so far).
Max range (at 60-65mph) 44+ miles
Absolute Max range 67+ miles (so far).

Replaced rear differential with 0W30 synthetic.
Replaced transmission oil with Royal Purple
Full undercarriage cover.

Planned Mods: I was looking into LiFe batteries but then re-thought the vehicle itself. I am now converting an Geo Metro in an EV with PM motor and LiFe batteries.
