Description: The H-M-Vehicles Free-Way is a three-wheel microcar manufactured in Burnsville, Minnesota, from 1979 to 1982.
The motor is mounted behind the driver and is coupled to a snowmobile-style CVT belt drive transmission. Final drive to the rear wheel is by chain.
Mine has a radio, carpeted interior, a removable sun roof and an oil cooler that doubles as a cabin heater.
Build Thread:
Current Mods: Low rolling resistance tires, a better CVT made by CVtech who supplies millions of them to Europe, India and the Far-East.

Planned Mods: A tachometer, yet to be installed. Slightly complicated for a one cylinder engine.
