the original engine was an inefficient CVH 1.4 fuel injection,i swapped in a newer 2.0 duratec HE motor from a 2006 Ford Mondeo.
my build wasn't about power,instead for more efficient power delivery and lower rpm torque.bettered MPG by around 15% (still calculating exact numbers) over the original 1.4.
Max RPM has been capped at 6000Rpm compared to the factory standard 7000Rpm,Intake camshaft retard 3deg,exhaust set at 7deg advance on the standard cams,this helps with a better low end torque.
Fuel pump delivery 56psi,Regulated at 35psi.
Engine ECU : Modified Bosch Motronic with 2 load maps and 2 stage throttle maps.
