Panels and struts added to the Herndon aerolid to hold the lift gate up 27 inches from it's normal closed height to facilitate directing air towards the top and sides of the trailer. This panel and strut system increases the wake area from 27 sq ft to just over 39 Sq ft. The new cd rating for the truck and trailer have yet to be determined.
Planned Mods:
Trailer edge rounded corners and a boatail for the trailer.
