Bought it used with 146k miles. Now it has over 250,000 miles. I bought it for the utility and also as a newspaper route car. The route paid for the truck. Now I just drive it for the farm.
Mechanically it's in fair shape. Maintenance is spotty. And mileage is unknown at over 260K miles.
I replaced the old square mirrors for a lower profile mirror from a compact car. I broke one side trying to remove ice so I replaced and modded in a junkyard pair rather shabbily by myself.
There's a head gasket blown, classic oil in the coolant and coolant in the oil. I flushed out the coolant recently (Feb) and the liquid was rust colored.

Tach install via gauge swap(First mod)
Full grill block: shiny aluminum sheet tied down by rope. It's the stuff they use in home construction to keep the termites off.
Wiper Delete. One wiper in reserve for rainy days.
Antennae Delete.
Mud Flap Delete.
Switched to Full Synthetic 5w-30 oil.
