It is! however, because there is a lot of drag and little weight you won't coast very far. Unless going downhill

And we have hills here, not real steep, just right for coasting. Go east and it gets flat, west and the hills get larger. The bike will do close to 30 in second gear and 3rd gear is relatively tall. You can go from 3rd to neutral but you have to go through second to get there.

I glide quite a lot with my bike especially after pumping the tyres at 40 psi instead of 30psi
But i glide by pressing the lever down and sometimes i swich the key off
When pressing the shifter lever down ,clutch disangage the gears and the bike glides freely.
Does your bike do that?

I had one of those (blue) as my first bike. It got me 142 mpg riding it flat out at top speed (about 35 mpg)

Waiting on the cdi ignition-charging system upgrade coming from Malaysia. It's like a 57 Chevy there and they got tired of points a long time ago. Of course saving the old parts and it is totally reversible.

Basically I am upgrading a 50 year old ignition system to fairly current and maintenance free charging-ignition system similar to my GZ250. At 145 MPG wide open and 43 MPH I just need to make sure I don't get clocked over maybe 42 if I can use the "it was downhill" defense.

I guess you won't feel like trying to reverse it to the old contact-breaker system. BTW is that CDI you purchased a Honda OEM unit or aftermarket?

They even offered to contact the gent they sold their obsolete tools to if one of their 40 pullers would not work. They have a tech that has worked there for 25 years and the Passport was the last similar scooter built and sold in the US.

Glass bead blasted the rear wheel spokes and hub, as well as the rear brake and sprocket assemblies. Cush rubbers look like new. Got the left side cover off for the flywheel pull and points replacement. One of the screws was a bear and took some hammering on the bit to break it loose. The cheap bit set I had bought for a few bucks had one that was a perfect fit, even held up to some healthy hammering. I had to lean the bike over against my inversion table to get enough of a push on the screwdriver to break it loose.

While I was at the dealership I checked out the closeout tires. Picked up a Dunlop K627 in 130/90/15 for the GZ250 for $59.95. It was made in Japan in early 2010. The original (2004) Metzler that was on the bike when it was made is very close to an inspection failure. I like those guys and they have always helped me fairly so it's nice to help them get rid of old inventory. I'll probably wear the tire out in two years riding.

Someone has put an electric motorcycle on both the electric and gas bike sections of the garage. I don't think I can beat 350+MPG, but it seems like 150+ might be possible.

My two brothers and I went in together or a hand impact driver for those finicky Phillips head screws.I don't know what we'd have done without it.

Honda 50 Super Cub C100 CA100 C105 C105T C110 CDI Electronic Ignition Magneto | eBay

Here is a link to the cdi setup. I doubt it 's OE but the seller has great feedback and I figure in Malaysia the super cub is about as common as a 57 chevy here.
