I have not been rear-ended, but my friend did that to someone else a few weeks ago. I was thinking that it would be easier to have a crash detection system and an app that overrides your screen and says "Brake!"

However, that might make matters worse, as people could rely on technology to tell them when to brake, while they can look at kittens on their iPhone, or watch television.

I had a lady drift into my Civic. There are many ways to cause accidents. Some people would have you believe that my slow driving leaves a swath of destruction.

Frank Lee has obviously never left Kansas, as I hear monkeys fly all the time in Oz.

Is insurance for "safer" cars cheaper in Kansas?

You're thinking in the wrong direction. Insurance gets more expensive for cars without the latest and greatest safety features.

It never goes down.
