Not the total build, but I wanted to get more images up. So busy...but I had time for a shameless plug, I better add some content! I will just add to this post for the underbody when I put in the shaping process, and how everything came together.

Rear diffuser 100% set, no gates yet

Here is a quick wrap up video, that as of typing this, is not done loading.
<object width= "560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/http://youtu.be/ZfyLcWodEDs&playlist=http://youtu.be/ZfyLcWodEDs"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/http://youtu.be/ZfyLcWodEDs&playlist=http://youtu.be/ZfyLcWodEDs" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always"></embed></object>

Now time to start updating the fuel log until the video is uploaded and good to go!

Major Update (ehh, major post)

Just finished updating my fuel log. Last update was up until September, now updated from September 30th to now. Here are more updates on the diffuser and underbody build.

One side view while crawling underneath to get final measurements of diffuser.

Some diffuser inspiration while at the Porsche dealership (used Ferrari on lot).

Holes for points gates will be attached.

Finally, this should be the working video to submit this...not sure how to make it show up here, the internet made a mess up there…

http://youtu.be/ZfyLcWodEDs

Diffuser up close after completed build, pre gates.

Put in place.

Gates riveted in place.

This piece was recently removed. It vibrated under heavy load, I think may have been getting in the way, and I figured Ford would blame this piece for my transmission issue that has been around since day one.

It curled around the K member (I think), and two bolts from here held it in place.

I saved this image to my phone...

This one was pretty funny, too.

I had a spider in my house, too.

I would have shot it if it came after my fur children.

One of several images on my planning for foam side skirts.

Alright, the rest are just me mes and selfies with my cats and dogs...lol. While I am going through the last three months of images on my phone, anybody else play Clash of Clans?

My new lifetime average is 35.7 MPG. I am not certain on how great or effective my underbody will be, especially with tragically cold weather here, and the Mustang only used to go to the gym (boost that testosterone a bit!). I would appreciate any and all feedback

That is all for now, my internet friends!

Once the weather gets better it'll be interesting to see what kinda numbers you'll be pulling.
This is a good thread showing the progression!
I like the shot of car on the rack with the dual exhaust cannons -> boom!

Agreed. I'm not sure how this will do compared to the last build. Definitely higher quality and more detailed, but I don't know if it will be better or worse than a whole sheet secured to the bottom.

This is directly against the car, while the last drooped down.
BUT, this is really only partial with the exhaust exposed, while the last one was a full smooth sheet all the way back.

I don't know how I missed this build. I am slowly building a belly pan for my SN-95 Mustang. My underbelly is completely different but the frame idea should work for the middle and back sections. That will allow me to use thinner aluminum.

If you are winter driving the belly pan should give you better results as the cold air is denser and areo matter more. I will be using a full pan in the winter and taking it off in the summer for Autocross.

Cold hurts tire warm up, wasted fuel warming the engine, cold drive line, and worse that I only drive it ~4 miles 8-12 times per week. Except special occasions, like interviews and holidays. That's why I won't have a good idea until summer.

BUT, why take it off for autocross? As long as it is stable, I don't really see the reasoning. Not arguing it will make a noticeable difference, but doubting it will hurt any, it seems like a lot of work to break even or do microscopically worse.

Your right, your short trips are really bad for testing in the winter. On long trips I found that not coasting while the engine is cold in the winter is good for 4 MPG on a long trip.

I don't know about this year, but last year the rules said no added pans forward of the firewall and no splitter further back that the front of the tires. The front of my pan was going to rest on the back of the under engine pan. Plus I am probably going to race under a pure stock class.

I am also one of those strange people who use their Mustang for driving long trips in the snow. A full belly pan should help with deep snow also.

Excellent work!

I wonder if the next rodent you run over will also be sliced into 4 pieces?
