The Derrick Barge ( DB ) I am engineering on has a pair of Skagit deck winches with 2 stroke Detroit diesels. Does that count?

Photobucket pulled a bunch of s*** and is holding everyone's image for a $400/yr ransom.

There is an add-on that will enable viewing -

This is a link to a "Photobucket Fixer" extension for Chrome - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...giikdkpmcpkaon

There is also one available for Firefox - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...obucket-fixer/

These do work! It makes all the dead photos alive again, so you can view them as usual. It works only for the computer that has it installed, and doesn't fix the thread itself.

You may need to search "Photobucket Fixer" to get it, but is in there.

Here are a coupe 2-strokes that I've ridden recently (non-Photobucket hosted) -

I like the looks of that Bultaco. I don't know why, but the absence of a battery makes it look great.

I was just going to say, I absolutely adore the Detroit two-strokes. Everything from lowly 4-53s in Jeeps and pickups on up. I've found I'm most partial to the sound of the 6-cylinder models, especially the lower displacement ones, 6V53 and 6V71s.

I used to like the Detroit, but now when it comes to 2-stroke Diesel engines I prefer some opposed-piston ones such as the Rootes TS3 (a.k.a. "Commer Knocker").

Wow you and your buddy have some beautiful bikes! I see you're in Wisconsin as well. What part? I'd love to meet on a ride sometime. I rode my XR600R to work in Wauwatosa today

I've heard about it a lot, but I haven't been to it.
I just started riding on the street about two weeks ago. I used to race motocross, but never had a street legal bike or a Class M License until last week.

Looks like a really fun time though! How many people show up? Based on the pics, it looks like a Lot lol.
