Are you asking because you secretly want my trailer?   
No way would I abandon my trailer! I have too much fun with this project! It's all about learning things and finding solutions to the issues/problems that crop up. Sometimes I find it interesting to "introduce" people to a single wheel trailer when I'm out and about with Dark Aero.

Now that I've got some time with the current build, I noticed that the aluminum flashing I installed on top of Dark Aero to protect the Tyvek and Coroplast layers is finally breaking down due to the canopy wearing on it. Looks like I need to reinforce the top with some better supports as well. I'll probably go with some galvanized steel flashing and build up some supports directly below where the canopy skids ride on the lid.
I'm thinking of using some aluminum square tubing as it will be light in weight, be able to support the canopy pounding on it, and should be easy to work with.

The tail cone got crushed when I was backing out of the driveway (which I don't normally do) after I drove in to repair the main belly pan that got damaged during a drive through some deep water. I had about 180lbs of sand in Dark Aero and combined with the tail dropping when the backing up, the tail cone impacted the road from my steep angled driveway and ended up gitting ripped off the supports.

I still prefer the loose lug nut technique,letting the wheel just fall off and go careening down the interstate in the dark while the fairings get shredded and the hub makes a fireworks display of sparks! Welcome to the club!

Since the metal studs work so well fer my other builds, I'm thinking about using some on the lid to provide the support framework fer dissipating the load from the canopy. It will be lightweight enough and should be strong enough to hold up to the stresses of being pounded on. It will also be inexpensive fer a 10' section...about $5.
