Thumbs up changed vafm to a bigger version

Hi
after reading on other forums about changing my standard toyota 3vze to supra vafm. for cost of £17 including delivery thought it was worth a go. netted a 10% improvement and much better driveability. seems like a win win sitution. engine is quieter as well. it was a plug and play fitting and a little tweek on vafm flap.

Hi
quick update looks like im going to get 250 miles out of a tank of fuel instead of scrapeing 200. This yank jas not been easist driving conditions. strong winds fog heavy rain and low temps for time of yearso im feeling quite pleased with out come. fimgers crossed i may be able to fit a set of flamethrower injectors sent to me for a free trial. claims to increase mpg and low to mid range torque. older version of these injectors have proved to be very good. will keep you posted.

VAFM = Volume Air Flow Meter.

Toyota engine designation, maybe.

Hi
only got 230 miles out of tank due to other road users who have no disaplain in staying between white lines speed what ever they feel like 20mph to over 80mph in a 60mph zone. use of brakes makes F1 drivers look like eco drivers. Never seen so many drivers not contrating to busy reading maps (only one road to use); waving arm out of window pointing at anything from grass, fences and livestock etc driving on wrong side of road sucidal over taking got a 2" gap so here i go. rant over. will have another attempt on this weeks tank of fuel. fingers crossed. :-) :-) :-) next goal will be 300 miles now that is next to impossiable but bring the challange on thats what we are all striving for on ecomodders prove it can be done.
