i found out what caused the loss of coolant!

It's the expansion tank. It has a crack.

Gotta patch it, it ain't a bad one so i guess i could glue it.

Should service the car. Oil is still semi-clearish, which is very nice.

You have a guide on how to patch it?

My wiper fluid reservoir is falling apart.

Be very careful on that, since it deals with high temperatures. But anyway, what kind of glue would you use? You might also remind that it must not just be heat-resistent but also compatible with the chemical content of the coolant fluid.

i was on a trip to Himos, 276 kms driven in one evening last friday.

A younger guy with a Audi A5 overtook me with a moderatedly high speed.
Didn't really care, german car drivers do it a lot and he did a relatively safe overtake, even if he overspeeded.

some kilometres later i see the audi stopped at a bus stop, with a police car behind

why the rush?

Had one stop for streching legs, checking water and oil just in case.

my average mileage for the trip was about 5,4L/100km 43MPG

but in Mid-Finland, the speed limits are slower, probably because more traffic. Drove mostly about 80km/h / 50mph of the trip.
