https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/6580335172.html
70hp in a 1633 lb car is good for <9 seconds 0-60 (with no passengers, I assume). $2600.

1998 Honda civic hx - $1600 with 143,008 miles in Philadelphia

Did you know you can search all of Craigslist at https://cse.google.com/cse?

https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/...584653732.html

As long as those are original miles and not on the second engine, with the first wearing out after 400,000, this sounds pretty good, but it has a rebuilt title, and there is only one picture of the instrument cluster, and another of the hood and windshield.

Hopefully you can talk them down a whole hundred dollars!

1997 HX in Carey, Ohio for $1,350 with 259,000 miles. https://limaohio.craigslist.org/bar/...590419146.html
It does not describe the title, but points out rust and paint problems.

1996 HX in Albany, Oregon for $750 with 165,000 miles.
https://salem.craigslist.org/cto/d/1...591209565.html
The interior looks rough. It seems to have matte black Plasti-Dip, but says the title is clean.

2002 HX in Cleveland for $1,000 with 197,000, but the engine and transmission were rebuilt at 150,000.
https://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto...590023717.html
Supposedly the title is clean, but the car decided it was stolen, and they do not know how to hack it.

My spider-sense is tingling...

Ugly 1997 HX in Colorado Springs for $1,000 with 220,000 miles.
https://cosprings.craigslist.org/cto...589880962.html

I only found three Gen1 Insights for sale in the entire country, but I fear this misses some.

"Just inspected." Did everything pass? Are they selling it because nothing passed?

I found a Sprint for $3,200. Seriously?!

Bet you can talk this guy down to $1500 on this 1978 Mk1 Fiesta. Comes with the original wheels that are apparently good for 5 mpg.

I had one of those Fiesta's back in the early 90's.The biggest problem I found with it was finding parts to repair it with. It was only made for 3 years so there weren't too many of them out there. I guess with the internet it might be easier getting replacement parts now though. It was a fun little car. Paid $350 for it, put a few hundred more into it and drove it for about five years. Funny thing is, that is the one car that I can't remember what happened to it when I finally quit driving it. JJ

What car is that generation of Fiesta, underneath the Ford badge?

I think the next gen was a Kia or Mazda.
