This is what the 8.1 billion dollar EPA budget gets you:

The EPAs jedi mind trick approach to stopping global climate change.
Backyard burger and wiener roasts targeted by EPA | WashingtonExaminer.com

Never mind that gas leak that can be seen from space. These aren't the droids you are looking for, move along.

Big money doesn't protect my backyard grill, and the Koch brothers don't have one. Who do you think is going to get stomped on by an underfunded agency that answers to people getting their pockets lined with the big money?

What is your obsession with the Koch brothers?
I could care less who they are. All I know for sure is the obsession with them isn't going to fix anything.

I don't think I've mentioned them before, but they are easily recognizable faces of big fossil fuel money. They don't care about backyard grilles but are probably glad that people focus on that instead of the odd methane plume. Enough focus on the evil oppression of broiled steaks might be enough to distract the EPA and undermine their efforts at targeting real pollution.

Ever been gassed out by an idiot neighbor's barbecue? As they say (in another context) your right to grill stops at my lungs.

EPA is full of commies, neo-hippies, what else? Vegans??? Anyway, some charcoal-fired or wood-fired barbecue might be still cleaner than relying on an electric grill connected to a coal-fed grid

Dirty burning at the residential level adds up:
Mild winter gives Washington County wood-smoke regulation breathing room

The pollutants don't even have to leave the house to be deadly.
The cookstove that could save 4 million lives per year

Gassed out?
I have no idea what you could possibly be trying to convey with that statement.

Sorry, I am not responsible for your lack of reading skills :-)

Because I am a nice guy, though, I'll try to explain. Backyard barbecues can produce a lot of unpleasant emissions, especially if the person using it doesn't know how to start a fire without a quart or so of charcoal lighter. If you live nearby, or even in a second-floor apartment above the barbecue (as many people do in cities), you get the full benefit of those emissions.
