Cute. Sorta reminds me of the Nash Metropolitan. Wonder whose engine it uses?

Panhard's.

Quote:
Panhard was one of the world's oldest auto manufacturers and since 1945 had become known for producing economical cars. Panhard, like Citroën, considered itself a leader, not a follower of automotive trends, and the Dyna Z featured an impressive array of unusual engineering choices.
  • Layout Front engine
  • front-wheel drive
  • Powertrain
  • Engine 851 cc
  • two-cylinder boxer motor
  • 42 or 50 hp at 5000 rpm
  • Transmission 4-speed manual
  • Column mounted control
  • Dimensions
  • Wheelbase 2,570 mm (101 in)
Edit:

Use the exhaust pipes for the engine mounts? What could possibly go wrong?

I always picture something like that with a Beetle nose and roof grafted on; for better ingress/egress.

I will agree that it is a low area, but the Cd is suspect.

I am not convinced, but it is cool looking.

It's nice, the flower-petal door answers my objection. I like the narrow body with discontinuous pontoon fenders. Here's what I was thinking:

I used to do that on my old Honda 750-4. I could rest my legs on the turn signals. It was good for about 5 mph at top end which was around 110 mph.
