I tried self watering. This is a drip setup fed by a hose on a timer. Total win here- once I got it set up my only "work" was walking through it appreciating it. And picking food.

A guy at work knows a guy who works at a grocery store. Those are empty frosting buckets from the bakery.

We make our own frosting, but go through a couple buckets of honey a week.

I have one of these from my dad's childhood. It's really beat up and the rivet was undone so I pulled the top half off, hot glued a small magnet below the load floor and glued everything back together. It's now a cute* magnetic pin 'cushion' for sewing.

*still a car, so not "cute" by my girlfriend's standards.

I also use one of these as a paper weight. Gives a nice splash of color.
