I can't look at this car without thinking of how simple it would be to cover those lights.
Two pieces of plexi and a few screws would fix it right up.

I saw that car at the Lemoore sand drags, I wonder if he's local to that area?

If it weighs more, this is more than offset by the lower aero drag.

Take a look again at the picture... I feel like the headlight area doubles as his air intake. You can see the radiator partially highlighted on the right side of the image.

Yes, that is spot on.

With the new bumper design he lost the OEM lower grill which you can see in the earlier version (under the license plate).

In the current(?) setup there is no lower grill, but it has an upper grill.
A very enlightened one

The hinges got me at first, I thought they were for lowering the lights instead of hinging the hood

Hi everybody. I just found your forum. I am Gene's son-in-law and I can probably answer a lot of your questions about the Metro.
I doubt if Gene himself will want to join the forum, but I'll give him the URL and tell him about your interest.
It's funny, because he is currently driving in it with my wife out in Parker, AZ. headed to Tucson
Anyway. I'll hopefully get an e-mail if anybody has any questions.

No questions, but if he looks at the site, he may find interest in these two threads.

Maybe an electric vehicle conversion is the next logical step. One has an AC motor and the other is DC, both are very nice conversions of the Geo Metro.

We think it's awesome and are always fascinated to see extreme things in the wild. 10 years ago I was confused by random cool things people weren't sharing on the internet, but now I'm sure there are more cool things that aren't shared and very knowledgeable people that don't post.
