Cool Teaser Video

SMCC Economy Run 2013 - YouTube

Filmed a short teaser video today. The good news is that there's no construction on the original route and there are two of the rougher sections that have been beautifully resurfaced since last year.

Mike, that's really cool about the Volt. Would be great to throw one of those into the mix!

The Club Smart guys are firing up the 450 vs. 451 rivalry and will surely be competitive again this year!

The roughest section I can think of was dirt with some large rocks I chose to avoid. I'm guessing by 're' paved you are not talking about this section?

I am hoping to come again this year and maybe actually have time to stay and chat afterward. I haven't had time to do any improvements to my car and think if anything my driving technique has gotten worse, but hopefully I still beat a Smart or two.

The section that you mention is in the same shape as last year. But, now it's the only rough section. The roads in and out of St-Hippolyte have fresh asphalt which is a huge improvement over previous years.

Hope you can make it again!

Will you perhaps be rooting for them in person thanks to a recent purchase?

Thank you Denis. I pick it up tonight and then will trailer it up to Plattsburgh on Friday night. I will then unload it and drive it the rest of the way into Montreal for the weekend. I ordered my Circuit électrique card yesterday and should be ready to charge up for $2.50 a plug in, up in Canada.

So it looks like the Fit EV will be travelling more miles on a trailer than under it's own power the first week that I own it.
