If the Fit has a readout of power consumed we could use that. Or -

There are charging in stations at Big Y in Lee and Johnson Nissan in Pittsfield.

Of course petro-powered cars won't be able to duplicate the location, neither will have gasoline. But if either location works for you, we could probably just note your energy consumption from the receipt printout. If there's an EPA or other standard estimate of energy consumption, we can score against that. It's a friendly competition anyway, not really a big deal. I'm planning on scoring by % over EPA combined city/highway estimate. Raw #s will of course also be visible.

Top up before the start and then recharge immediately afterwards. The ChargePoint chargers record exactly how many kW's were used during post event recharging. They are much more accurate than pumping gasoline.

Unfortunately, the Fit EV does not have a readout of power consumed in kW. Just in % of charge. No worries, the event was not designed around EV's and I'll just be going along for the ride.

Holy cow it's this weekend? Well I'm embarrassed, I have plans to go to Clarkson University this weekend. Apologies guys.

I had the whole thing planned so well too. From where I was going to charge, eat breakfast, and be ready to go at Noon.

Bummer, I wanted to check out the electric Fit.

Sunday still looks good for me. I'm in the middle of moving but I haven't hit any snags so far so taking Sunday off shouldn't be a problem.

blownb310,
Clarkson University is roughly 9.5 miles from my place. If you need a very memorable side-show let me know..

Very sorry to hear that - not good!

Must be the season for that. My son hit one about two weeks ago - his car is still waiting to get fixed. $2600. Of course it was a much worse day for the deer.
