Hello, I saw on an old post of yours that you had BSFC maps for a Chevy 350. Where did you find them? I'd really like to get a copy. Thanks for your help. Carl
I drive a 1986 Toyota Tercel wagon, and I'm interested in exploring the aerodynamics of this car both for fuel economy, and for a possible LSR run in one of these cars. How can I find the stock coefficient of drag for this car?
Hey Brian! I'm encouraging all the aero-modders to get a copy of Hucho's book,"Road Vehicle Aerodynamics",published by Butterworths. It's kinda pricey ( around $ 100 US ),but has everything you ever wanted to know about aero.Short of that,I'm trying to post Aero-Installments,kinda a mini-course on aero.If you'll check out my installment on " undersides" and "rooflines.",it will have useful data for you. When I can get to the photographs and images,I think things will finally come together for people,as they'll be able to "see" the air.Take a look at those posts, and I'll catch up later,Phil.
Is there some easy way to get access to aero design tips? For example: angles for fast backs, underbody trays, etc. It seems like you know most of the answers, but it's cumbersome to search so many posts. I guess what I'm after is more how-to info on the aero mods sticky thread.
