New guy here. I stumbled upon Ecomodder 3 days ago. I am officially HOOKED! I've read the entire thread on Ben Nelsons ebike and eMetro build.
I noticed you are from LA. I too am from LA (Oakdale). I live on the MS gulf coast (Long Beach) now, since departing the Air Force. I just wanted to say hello to someone that lived close by. I'm currently working in Iraq as a contractor. I'm hoping to come home in May '09 if I can find a decent job in the Communications field.
I have an '87 toyota pick-up that isn't running that I would love to convert. Any suggestions as to where to look for decent parts in our area?
