Ok, here I have given up on twisting the top portion of the shell and finally had to saw it completely off. With the camber of the original shell the sides pulled in about 6 inches as I bent the top to the profile. No matter how I pleaded it wasn't going to look or work right until I cut it completely apart and renotched it to fit.
