My opinion is 800 rpm will not make much difference...you will probably get better results shifting at 2500 rpm vs. 3500 rpm but i believe it's not much, the best results are from conserving momentum...

Yesterday i did a coastdown test with my 4dr Civic. I did 2 tests in each direction with all windows closed and the same test with front windows open thinking this would be worse on fuel economy...
