With my diesel Jetta, I insisted on getting a base manual model, and it came from another dealer over 100 miles away. When I switched to the gas model, I did opt for one that happened to be in stock.

It started with "C" after the fuel light in my old Mazda (14.5 gal tank) came on at 247 miles.

But once I got into it, it's definitely "A" with "all of the above" being secondary considerations.

EPA.gov should give the updated numbers for your car. I know my old Mazda was originally 25/31, but dropped to 22/28 with the ethanol and the new EPA...

For highway trips, I have to have cruise control....

For highway trips, I have to have cruise control. Even if I don't use it all the time, I need to be able to take a break and move my leg around to keep it from cramping.
