I have considered developing a recumbent chassis with integrated roll cage but the red tape in Australia is too costly and troublesome for it to be viable.

The 3rd gens might not have as much of an issue with that because you guys have the exhaust heat exchanger. I definitely have that issue with my 2nd gen. The ECT really helps out a lot.
