'04 5.3L Chevy 1500, 2008 Prius, and motorcycles
Hi there all,
I have just signed up for the forum. I have read a lot from the posts and figured I would join because it seems like my cup of tea.
I'm an engineer by schooling, but have not used it since I graduated - I'm a consultant now. I grew up in Southern California driving motorcycles - I didn't buy my first car until I was 27 when I had to because the family was getting bigger.
So, in the barn we have:
'04 5.3L Chevy 1500 - use it to get to work on rainy days and pull our 28' Airstream for trips.
'08 Prius - wife's commuter.
'99 Honda Shadow Aero 1100 (motorcycle for you 4-wheel types) second vehicle ever owned - my commuter.
'81 Honda Goldwing with Vetter sidecar - 1st vehicle. Show bike that my Dad passed down to me as a pup. Working on bringing it back up to par, but as everything else in life, it's not top of the list so it mostly sits in the garage.
I'm always interested in ways to tweak any of my modes of transportation and hope to learn a lot and be able to add some good posts.
