Fake news. That candy-striped red line does not represent the airflow off that wing spoiler.

However the flaps in the internal ducting is very interesting. The posts for the fixed wing are hollow, and pass sufficient air to modify the airflow over it.

The angle of attack makes this a deflector with swirling vortexes of air behind it. I can see some altering of air course, but think there is an air-brake effect as well.

Angle Of Attack

McLaren does a true air-brake, and the angle seems to be a bit greater.

McLaren MP4-12C

The Lambo's channeling of air via the vertical struts is an innovation I have not seen before, at least not in this specific manner.

Nice article Sendler, Lambo admits they used to be more about looks than performance. Guess it took German ownership to change that.

dynamic stall effect
Yep, stall means disruption of smooth air flow as I suspected earlier with the dirverter and vortex comments I made.

I also suspect they are not all telling to ward off imitation and competition.

The patents could be for marketing reasons, or they just might sue others following in their wake. Time will tell, but by then they will adapt and change to stay ahead.
