1000+ gallon club

I figured it might be fun to start a 1000+ gallon club.
So after 1530 days of owning my 92 Civic VX, it has consumed 1000 gallons of gas and driven me over 55,000 miles.
I have only once gone below the new EPA combined avg. for this car and even that was still slightly above the city rating.
1992 Honda Civic VX Gas Mileage (WD-40's VX) - EcoModder.com
I am wondering what the next 1000 gallons will yield me.
Anyone else want to join or comment.

I guess it's one of those things where you kinda wanna be a member (because it demonstrates experience), and sort of don't want to be a member of (because it demonstrates burning a lot of fuel).

Good or bad, I guess I'm in it with you (1,131 gal over 35,839 mi).

Turn it on its head and answer the inverse question: How many gallons saved?

I saved 836 gallons in my now-retired Civic. Nearly 1000.

Dave, you've saved 1340 gallons.

That's kind of cool. I've had my Mazda for 6 years, and wish I had the data for all that time. Or not. I expect my lifetime average is pretty sad :/

I have all the data of all my motorized vehicles in my life, and I still haven't used 1000 gallons, let alone save that much I might be too young - or I began too late

I like that approach! A bit more challenging than consuming 1000 gallons. I'm only 1/3 the way there, but it gives me something to shoot for.

Seconded. Anyone can burn up 1000 gallons over the life of a car. Saving 1000 gallon, that takes skill.

Used 1212, saved 717. For every gallon I burn, my car really ought to have burned 1.59.
