With my Ultra-gauge and driving style 'adjustment' I've upped my FE from 36mpg to 44mpg, 19 % increase! Might not be world breaking but it's a start

Next target is 50mpg

Will start with a service - synthetic oil, k+n air filter and plugs. Adjust tire pressures and continue to improve my driving!
Thinking also of putting in a Torque Lock status LED so see how effective the slushbox is at locking?

As other has noted this is additive

Very nice !

I would stick with the oem air filter. The K&N air filter, if it is the one that needs to be oiled, tends to cause problems with the MAF sensor over time.

If this is combined city/highway, 44MPG combined out of a vehicle rated at 35 highway. Great!! You could probably break 50 MPG strictly highway.

Nice work

I second the suggestion to stick with the stock air filter.

Higher tyre pressure will be most noticeable during driving.

Better grade, and if your car can take it, lower friction oil is most noticeable after a cold start, overall it is less obvious but it has some + effect even if it is hard to single out.

I would also advise against the K&N air filter if it is efficiency gains you are looking for. Only engines modified for more power would benefit from the increased air flow the K&N might offer. Save your money for something else (maybe gas).
