I guess you can just take the guts out of the pumpkin to reduce weight/drag

What are doing about the driver-facing parts of the Prius? Speedo, economy display, pedal cluster, ignition, etc? I assume you're keeping the stock wiring loom intact so the ECM still thinks it's a Prius . You and Bill are going to have to get together and drag race!

Looks great! I bet you could build some racks in the rear frame and drop in some batteries and a DC motor connected to the rear diff. The only thing better than a hybrid pickup is a 4WD plugin hybrid pickup!
