1991 CRX HF and VX engine
1991 Honda CRX HF 201k miles on HF engine, very slow drip oil leak otherwise engine and trans runs strong.(as strong as 62hp can provide) Body needs work(front driver fender replaced, dent in driver door and driver rear*sideswiped, interior has no passenger seat but with passenger rails, the seat was shot and removed. It's a decent daily driver but it ain't pretty by any means. stock wheels, brakes, heater controls barely working. I will also include the A/C heater box and controls for the swap to the better cable operated mech. The VX engine is Jdm d15b(vtec-e) with 30k miles. I've read over crxmpg.com and other sites. You can apparently run this thing using the HF parts(intake, dist, exhaust, ecu) and never go into vtec and net over 55mpg. Which was the plan but I don't have the time. I'm asking $1800 for the car and engine. Can throw in a p28 chipped with jumper harness or the stock VX P07 and a programmer(burner) for extra if desired if you wanted to tune the ECU for ultra lean burn ease! Please send cash offers or questions my way. The only thing I might trade(partial) for would be around a 1990 crx/civic hatch shell.
