1st Inch
Well winter is hear I guess. we had a light dusting the other night, and it stayed. Now it's snowing again, and we are up to our first inch. The next month is fun as folks relearn how to drive.

Winter is registering on my mpg gauge, especially when it comes to lean burn. Set your grille block to "winter", set your heater to "cold" until your SG tells you it's okay to let coolant into the heater core, and before you get too depressed about your FE in the coming weeks, look at your logs from last February.

Anchorage. My job took me from Ketchikan to Barrow, though.

Cold battery season arrived in Buffalo today. I woke up to 22°F, and the Insight was happy to give assist, but all but refused to do regen braking. It does that when its cells are below freezing.
