2000 Honda Insight 5 speed man trans: Pulse, forced stop, glide, repeat questions

2000 Honda Insight 5 speed manuel transmission: Pulse, clutch in, shift netural, forced stop, clutch out, glide, clutch in, grear in, bump-start, repeat -- will this cause any problems? what the best mod to do this keyless? Will the headlights turn off when you key force stop?

I am planning on getting a 2000 Honda Insight tomorrow and I want to mod and hypermile it up to 100mpg.

I use the keystart, not bumpstart, less wear & tear (IMO). The lights remain on.

What are the best mods out there for FAS? Is there a mod to turn your Insight headlights off for daytime use?

I just hit the kill switch to kill, and tap throttle to re-start. Keeps the all-important mpg meter running, not to mention the airbags.

I don't have DRL, so I just use the headlight switch. Try pulling up the parking brake one notch, if the DRL's go out, mod that switch.

There is a Honda recall on the high-low beam switch. FYI.

I think that FAS is a cool mode for insight insted dubble clutch, ect.
