Trip from Arlington Texas to Sulfer Springs Texas (I-20 to 635 t0 !-30)
w/premium gas (93 octane)
manual calls for 87-89 octane.
Flat, 5:21pm. 120 miles (aprox) 45 degrees outside, dry. overcast.
70 mph
209-215 FWT
31 IGN
35 LOAD
2430 rpm
40-44 HPR
**** 30.7 mpg ******

Does the kia change the ignition timing in response to the octane fuels?
What was the difference (other than octane level) between the 30 and 33 mpg drives?

sorry, my bad!
I justed edited the 93 octane post.
My speed was 70 mph!
So while the mpg fell...... Getting 30mpg at 70 mph aint toooo bad!!!
