My wasteful pressure washer is how I keep my 1 small patch of crab grass alive in the summer.

Pressure washing is a much more efficient method than hoses and buckets. There's certainly a lot less water in my drive after pressure washing compared to the hose and bucket. |

Alas, my pressure washer is on the fritz. The water here at Rancho Indebto comes from a well in the back yard. It drains back into the ground (laden with car cleaning chemicals) when it runs off the driveway.

So you can use more that 2 buckets of water to wash your car? But why would you??

My Superbeetle is in storage, but it had a decent waxed finish, and the biggest problem is pine needles littering it; so I would use a drafting brush to sweep it for it's weekly drive and wash it maybe once a month.

Is the purpose of this to save soap? and maybe reduce how much soap and such goes in to the soil?
