My little brother has a '91 Wrangler with 200k miles, all original. He has beaten the thing to hell and back, and it's still going trouble free. He has bent the leaf Springs, smashed the oil pan by 1qt, smashed the exhaust (multiple times). It's amazing, but it STILL GOES! And it's an absolute blast to ride in! I love Jeeps <3.

The Jeepster concept would be more aero

But as said, why change it? They sell a ton, resale is up there with Tacomas (inexplicably high), and they are generally very dependable. I liked mine, it just didn't work well with a budding family.

Looks to me like the 4 wheel steering control algorithms could use a bit of tweaking. Or maybe they want to brag about a 4 second zero-sixty time while leaving "RPM" out of the statement.

Though aerodynamics are the least concern of a Wrangler buyer, moving the engine a few inches back in order to get some clearance for a more aerodynamic front clip would also lead to another benefit as it would improve stability due to the weight bias better distributed between the axles.

Better? The current Wranglers are basically a 50/50 weight distribution.

Wrangler, template. Template, Wrangler.

And that's about as far as this conversation's going to get.

I used to work at a Jeep dealer. I absosmurfly loathe Jeep people. The Jeep (Wrangler, not some rebadged other for mass sales) is the absolute best vehicle for its purpose, which no one at all has any real need to have performed.
