Welcome aboard!

I do the same thing with my AC- although more often than not, I'll just sweat. The bodies natural cooling system lol

And it is very important to keep momentum through those turns

Congrats!
The thing with these Subies is that not only are they AWD, they also have a 20+ year old engine that is so inefficient that the new FA/FB engines have only a little more than half the friction. With the 8.2:1 compression ratio, we have fuel economy nightmare, despite the relatively small displacement.

Good work!
Along those lines, I had my latest best tank a week ago just by limiting my freeway speed to 65MPH.

on the infiniti Q45, the a/c draw was nominal so I just left it on (at 74 derees) It would then just do it's own thing.

On the V6 Kia sportage, I do play games w/ he on and off button. But mainly keep it on!!!!

Thanks, ultimately my goal is to achieve this mileage while driving "normally" on the freeway.

Right now I achieve this mileage by using all the tricks in the EM book

I hate you. I could never get more than about a 28mpg average in my SVT Focus lol. Although it was good for mid-30s pure highway driving.

Typical mgp on my daily commute:

TO WORK (mainly uphill climb):
without hypermiling - 21-22mpg
with hypermiling - 29-32mpg

TO HOME (mainly downhill):
without hypermiling - 26-27mpg
with hypermiling - 36-38mpg

My daily commute is bout 80% highway driving, so i use lots of Engine off coasting and i stay out of boost .

if i do go into boost, i'll let the engine idle for about 5 seconds to let the oil cool down the turbo before i go into engine off coasting.
